Easy Clean Cotton Mops
The cotton oil mop is used for dusting normal to heavily contaminated surfaces. The impregnating solution consists of mineral oils and is therefore not harmful to the environment. The mops are washed in oil during the cotton oil mop’s cleaning process. The polluted oil is collected and filtered so that it can be reused. This makes the cotton oil mop a unique and sustainable product.
The cotton oil mop is available in various wipe widths: floor mops of 140 cm, 100 cm, 75 cm and 50 cm. In addition, the cotton oil mop is also available as a 50 cm hand mop and as a 15 cm mini hand mop.
The sustainable life cycle of our Easy Clean Cotton Floor Mops
Did you know that the use and cleaning process of our Easy Clean Cotton Floor Mops is very durable? Discover below how this process works!
1. Washing
New, unimpregnated mops are first washed repeatedly to open up the fibres. This makes it easier for the impregnating solution to adhere.
2. Shaking
For returned, used mops, the metal frames are removed and the mops are thoroughly shaken in our special shaker machine. This way, the coarsest dirt is already removed from the mops.
3. Washing and impregnation
Next, the mops are washed in mineral oil. The dirt is filtered out of the oil in order to reuse it again afterwards.
4. Packaging
After the mop is impregnated, the metal frame is replaced and the mop is packed in recycled foil. Once the mops are ready to be transported to the customer, they will be packed in cardboard boxes.
5. Transport
Transport to the customer takes place in two different ways:
– Using our own transport:
We drive directly to the customer and change the products on-site. This saves transportation costs in cases where the customer has also rented other products, such as floor mats.
– Through parcel services:
We send our products by a parcel service outside a radius of 150 km. They usually deliver to our customers anyway, which saves unnecessary trips and reduces CO2 emissions.
When delivered by a parcel service, the mops are packed in cardboard boxes. The boxes are used for sending clean mops to the customer but also for returning used mops back to our laundry.
